The Pandanet Go European Cup Final approaches quickly as it will take place as
usual during Paris Go Tournament during Easter week-end (from 22nd to
24th March in the 13ème arrondissement Town Hall).

want to be charged an extra 15 euro fee!! (You do not have to send your
payment in advance.)
You will find hereafter the prizes for the Paris Go Tournament 2008:

Besides, the winner of the main tournament will receive a very special
trophy: an original sculpture, with a value of 2400 euro, artwork designed
by the artist Brigitte Fournier-Valette and sponsored by the company
RécitSproque.
The best woman will be rewarded with a beautiful watch "Goïshi" by Seiko,
designed based upon Go game.
The winner of the blitz tournament will get 100 euro, 2nd 50 euro, 3rd
and 4th 25 euro.
Players with 6 victories will get 100 euro, with 5 victories 50 euro and
with 4 victories a book or similar.
Remember that after the last round, we will celebrate the prize ceremony for
the Pandanet Go European Cup concluding the 2007-2008 season with the
following prizes, rewarding the best players in the Pandanet Go European Cup:

Many activities are planned around the tournament and several pro players
will be present, for the tournament, game analysis or simultanuous games.
- The professionnal player Cao Da Yuan 9P will be available during the
tournament for simul games.
- Amateur Bao Yun 7D will perform a blind simul game.
- You will be able to enjoy a Blitz tournament and a party in a Parisian
place on Sunday night.
On top of that a real special event (IA-GO Challenge) is being prepared,
with a fight between Mogo, currently best Go program in the world, against a
professional player on 9x9 on Saturday, an exhibition game on 19x19 on
Sunday and a debate with researcher, computer experts and players on monday.
You will be able to follow the IA-GO Challenge live and on the Internet
through KGS.
